A family cattery for traditional Ragdolls and British Golden cats
La Rosdollane Ragdolls breeds Ragdoll cats — whose name means “rag doll” — and, more recently, British Shorthair Golden cats in Aix-en-Provence (Puyricard). Ragdolls and British Golden cats are gentle, affectionate indoor companions (extremely cuddly, in fact!) who need attention and company.

In 2004, I fell for the Ragdoll’s gentleness. That is how La Rosdollane began. For over twenty years, on my own modest scale, I have pursued this passion, contributing to the breed’s development and preservation.

I make no compromises when it comes to health. Seeing a beloved companion ill, or worse, is too painful. Our cats and cattery are tested, and my lines are established enough for me to consider them healthy. Of course, that comes at a cost. Pay peanuts…

In 2025, I discovered the British Golden Shorthair. This little cat, part E.T., part desert fox, with the irresistible face of a mischievous little troll, naturally found her place among the Ragdolls.

Our adult Ragdolls regularly take part in cat shows. Most are LOOF Champions or Double Champions. Their titles recognise their conformity to the breed standard and reflect the quality of our breeding choices.

Our female cats are precious, and their health safeguards that of their kittens. The French Rural Code limits breeding to three litters in any two-year period. To protect their health and well-being, we favour just one litter a year.
Our litters are therefore few, precious and eagerly awaited. They come from carefully selected parents, to offer you healthy kittens with gentle temperaments and silky, easy-care coats. Read more…
The Ragdoll is naturally gentle, calm, affectionate and deeply attached to its people. At our family Ragdoll cattery in Aix-en-Provence, we select with great care for kittens who combine health, temperament and beauty.
We pay close attention to the socialisation and development of our kittens, both Ragdolls and British Golden Shorthairs. They grow up with the family, surrounded by love, play and attentive care, to become balanced, affectionate companions.
