Ragdoll standard

The standard describes the general balance expected in a Ragdoll. It is a guide, but it never replaces health, temperament and wellbeing.

Silhouette

A large cat with a long, solid body, broad chest, strong bone and harmonious musculature.

Head

A softened triangle, slightly rounded forehead, developed cheeks and a well-defined muzzle.

Eyes

Large, oval and intensely blue. The expression should remain soft and open.

Coat

Semi-long, silky, with a seasonal ruff and a well-furnished tail.

Patterns

Colourpoint, mitted and bicolour, each with its own distribution of white.

Temperament

Calm, confident and close to people. Character remains central to the breed.
